About Universe

Universe is an independent LGBTQIA+ publication about understanding yourself, living with others and finding a place in a wider world. We bring identity, relationships, community and culture into the same conversation, because everyday life rarely keeps them in separate boxes.

More than a definition

A useful explanation should help you do something with what you learn. Our guides connect concepts with ordinary situations: deciding what to share, discussing a relationship agreement, building friendships or understanding a symbol's history. Examples make the choices visible without pretending that everyone's experience is the same.

Room for different lives

You may be LGBTQIA+, questioning, supporting someone close to you or simply curious. You do not need to choose a label or share personal information to explore Universe. Our language editions connect the same subjects across languages. A language edition is not a claim that local laws or services are identical everywhere.
