Corrections
How to report a factual error, a translation issue or a broken resource in a Universe guide.
If you find a factual error, a misleading explanation, a translation problem or a resource that does not work, email contact@universe.gay.
Help us find the point
Include the page URL, its language and the sentence or feature you want us to examine. Explain what appears wrong and, where available, provide a source or the steps that reproduce a technical problem. You do not need to share personal information beyond what is necessary to communicate about the issue.
How a change is handled
We examine the claim against its context and relevant evidence. A factual correction changes information that was wrong. A material update adds or changes information because the subject has developed. A style adjustment improves wording without changing the underlying point.
When a correction changes a meaningful conclusion, the affected page identifies the change and its date. Related language editions are considered together so a corrected point does not remain misleading elsewhere. Minor spelling or layout changes may be made without a separate correction notice.
A different interpretation of a cultural work is not automatically a factual error, but explaining the disagreement can still be useful. Our editorial policy describes the distinction between evidence and interpretation. General enquiries use the same contact address.
